Lymm Festival is a non-profit organisation and registered charity which celebrates the visual and performance arts in Lymm, Cheshire. Founded in 1999, in celebration of and to bring together the Lymm community, this year marks the Festival’s twentieth. Over the course of two decades, the Festival has grown exponentially. It is organised by an events team, supported by a voluntary committee with an army of volunteers at their disposal. Also, a marketing team supports the Festival’s publicity. Furthermore, the Festival is supported by a raft of local businesses. Key Lymm-based contributors include:

Lymm Festival 2019
Since its establishment in 1999, Lymm Festival has grown into an occasion for the whole community. With its breadth of coverage, Lymm Festival truly caters for one and all. Accordingly, it has become an integral part of life in Lymm. Themes and areas covered by the Festival include:

This year, the Lymm Festival took place between 20th and 30th June. An action-packed ten days involved talks related to art and literature, art and craft exhibitions, musical and theatrical performances and mocktails!
Lymm Festival 2019 – Key Highlights
Festival Food Fest
Based in Lymm village centre, the Festival Food Fest kicked off proceedings with a delicious bang! Supported by Lymm’s favourite local restaurants, bars and food outlets, festivalgoers were treated a broad range of culinary delights.
Lymm Historic Transport Day
Centred at May Queen Field, with displays across Lymm village, the historic transport day had a military flavour. Complete with uniforms and vehicles from a range of eras of military history, the occasion drew large crowds. However, the event’s key highlight was the flying display by a Dakota C-47 which conducted a Battle of Britain memorial flight.
